Joanne tutored me in Organic Chemistry during my final year of University. It was a class that I had failed in the past and was extremely afraid of. However, after learning from Joanne, I actually began to understand the concepts instead of memorizing them. She is an intelligent, patient and friendly human being. Joanne is an amazing teacher and genuinely cares about her students. She is able to understand each student in order to provide a customized learning experience. Joanne takes the time to explain difficult concepts, find relevant practice problems and effectively test your knowledge. She became a very good friend and Ochem started to seem less daunting. I would recommend Joanne to anyone who needs a extra assistance in their courses. I started taking lessons from Joanne in the middle of the semester and after getting ~55% in midterms, I scored 80% in my final exam and reached my target grade.
