About Rachael
My name is Rachael and I am an enthusiastic and positive teacher based in the west of Scotland. I aim to make every student feel confident in their own abilities by emphasising key study and revision techniques as well as providing sound knowledge of exam content.
I am been a UCAS mentor for a number of years and understand the importance of getting the right grades to pursue future goals!

I tailor my methods to each pupil - I have experience of teaching in a variety of different schools and to pupils with a variety of different skills sets and previous working knowledge of their subject. I will typically set a goal for each lesson and then use a variety of methods including traditional teacher led learning techniques as well as pupil-led learning techniques.
I have a 2:1 Honours degree in Politics and Social Science from the University of Glasgow and a PGDE qualification from UofG also. I have 8 years experience in the classroom and have tutored a number of individual pupils over the past 5 years. I am an experienced SQA marker who knows what is needed to pass exams.
