I am a High School teacher who has taught in Australia both in private schools and the public system for more than five years. My areas of history study at University (BA History, University of New South Wales, and a Master of Teaching University of New England) were Modern European History, European Studies, Modern Australian History, Modern History of USA, Modern Arab History.

I have a wholistic style to teaching History, it is not just a subject of names and dates, but a subject deals with human nature, the nature of society and who controls the world. History is exciting as it gives so many insights into why our world is the way it is, History answers the question why do we do things the way we do them today. An understanding of History has the power to shape the future. I teach history by sharing information, videos and text and then questioning and reasoning with students weaving in historiography and philosophy to widen the student's perspective.
