I am Mira Moonstone, a high school student. I am known for helping others around me learn and decided to try to help others learn in another way. These lessons are primarily for middle school-level students. In these lessons, the student will learn how to grammatically correct sentences. They will also learn how to use those sentences to create stories. I will show them examples, assist them with any problems they have, and guide them towards success. I will test their vocabulary and expand it in several scenarios. A typical lesson would begin with a run-through of some basic sentences. The lesson would continue to harder sentences depending on how that part goes. This part is used to gauge their grammatical skills. They would identify the nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. These are used to determine what level their understanding of sentence structure is. After the basic run-through, I would ask them to write a few sentences with the given parts of speech. Once they can do this efficiently and without or with few errors, we will move on to how to write an essay. I teach using basic MLA formatting. After showing the student MLA formatting for papers, as is typically required in schools, I then begin explaining how to write exposition. If at any point I notice significant writing errors, I will halt the lesson. Then, I will explain the errors and help them learn how to correct them. Once the exposition is covered, we move on to rising action, then climax, then falling action, and finally resolution. I will do my best to help them understand how to correctly write English. I will also help them with their vocabulary, introducing words, going over them, and then later testing them on what they remember.
