About NURUL IRDINA BINTI ABDUL RAHMAN

Hello, juniors! My name is Irdina and I'm Form 4 as of 2025 :D

I really love Mathematics; weird, right? For most, Mathematics is an annoying, difficult subject that's frustrating and complicated for seemingly no reason. I was once one of these students who hated Mathematics.

I mentioned on my teaching profile that I was a straight A student in primary — which is true — but I got my first and only C in my Year 4 mid-terms which was for Mathematics. I was really demotivated at first; I already didn't really enjoy Mathematics in the first place and now I get this terrible grade that I've never ever gotten before.

My Mathematics teacher saw this and drilled me to sharpen my skills and ever since then, I've never gotten a bad grade for Mathematics ever again; by the end of Year 4, I got back to my straight A track.

Additionally, I've learned that Mathematics is actually a really fun thing to do and have loved it ever since!

I want to share this love of Mathematics with you and show that Mathematics is not just a subject, it's a challenge/game that is very satisfying to overcome/win.

So come on, let's ace this >:)

About the lesson

‍ My specific target demographic is Year 1 to 6 and Form 1 to 3 students.

In my lessons, I will go in depth about the topics we will learn; how it works, the concept, etc. Then, a strong foundation of basics will be built before we answer exam level questions.

I will also teach techniques on how to answer exam questions so students can not only answer them efficiently but also with time to spare to go through the paper a second time.

As of my Form 3 UASA results, I got 83% for Mathematics, and I was a straight A student in primary school.

Monday: Year 4 — 16:00 - 17:00 hours
Wednesday: Year 5 — 17:00 - 18:00 hours
Thursday: Year 6 — 15:30 - 16:30 hours
Saturday: Form 1 — 18:00 - 19:30 hours
Sunday: Form 2 — 07:30 - 09:30 hours, Form 3 — 13:00 - 15:00 hours
