Hi! My name is Myles, but most people call me MJ. I’m a passionate, reliable, and experienced tutor who’s dedicated to helping students feel confident in their learning. Whether you need help understanding a tricky concept, organizing your thoughts for an essay, or simply building better study habits, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Teaching Method & Techniques
I use a student-centered approach that blends explanation, guided practice, and reflection. I adapt to each student’s learning style—visual, auditory, or kinesthetic—and use a combination of:
Socratic questioning to encourage critical thinking
Scaffolding (gradually increasing difficulty)
Real-life examples or storytelling to make abstract ideas stick
Frequent check-ins to ensure understanding and reduce overwhelm
