About Yordi

I take tutoring seriously and stay organized and reliable for every session. As a high school and college student, I bring up-to-date knowledge and explain concepts in ways that actually make sense. I've succeeded in challenging courses myself, so I know how to help you improve efficiently. My goal is to build your confidence while strengthening your foundation and understanding in biology.

About the lesson

I use interactive and real world biology examples, and practice questions to build deep understanding and confidence. A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then clear concept explanation, following with practice and feedback. What sets me apart is that I'm currently taking advanced classes so I understand students struggle with and explain it in a relatable way. My lessons are for middle school, high school, and early college students who want to improve grades and strengthen their biology foundations.

I’ve studied with Yordi and saw real improvement. I used to really dislike science, but now I’m actually starting to enjoy it. Her clear explanations, patience, and engaging methods made tough topics easy, especially when she helped me master a difficult biology unit.
