Troy is amazing , she is a great coworker and a very passionate teacher . She loves what she does, one standout quality is her unwavering willingness to help others. Story time. My son was struggling to write a paper. I contacted Ms. Troy and she step in to save the day. She was very patient, understanding, but mostly she was there to teach him his mistake. I think Ms. Troy Coleman is very passionate about teaching. I have really enjoyed listening to her referencing her students as her babies! I had the pleasure of being Ms. Coleman’s ( Troy ) last mentee during my final semester of student teaching. . I trust Miss Troy with my eldest son simply because she cares about the whole child. My son struggles with comprehension, but during his sessions with Miss Troy she is ver intentional about helping him connect with the story, rather it’s through games, deep conversation about individual characters and their interactions with the other characters in the story, or actually acting out parts of the story that maybe difficult for him to understand. She takes great care of all things ELA with my soon to be 5th grader. With my youngest she creates intriguing activities that keep his toddler mind stimulated through colors, shapes, letter and numbers. She sings songs, create dances, plays games, and makes memories. Not only does she take care of my children academically she assists my son with his social emotional skills. Being sure to care for the WHOLE child. Through her well organized SEL activities my son is able to deal with his emotions on a mature level and is able to express himself on new and creative ways. I absolutely love Purposeful Play and all that this program offers to children and their families.

Ms. Coleman has been a focal point in creating community cohesiveness through educating our youth. She is so dedicated and passionate about her craft and ensures that her students derive that same passion. Ms. Coleman is a wonderful teacher and instills values that assist children with creative learning. She has worked with my daughter and incorporated tools to allow me to assist my daughter inside and outside of the classroom. My daughter feels more comfortable and confident with her lessons and continues to grow with help from Ms. Coleman.

I had the privilege of working alongside Ms. Coleman for a few years and it was truly an exceptional experience. Witnessing her teach with unwavering passion was nothing short of inspiring. Unlike the traditional approach of simply sitting and listening, her classes were highly engaging and interactive. She dedicated herself to ensuring that everyone understood the concepts thoroughly. Also, she is a dedicated advocate who consistently provides sound guidance and unwavering support. Rest assured, she never leads anyone astray, be it you or your child.

I believe Troy is a trustworthy teacher because her dedication and commitment to teaching is shown by her ability to make connections with her students and their parents. She is intentional and thorough in her work. It is evident Troy teaches because she truly believes the children are the future and in order to succeed they need to have a solid learning foundation.

When I was introduced to Ms. Troy, I knew immediately that the services she was going to provide would help my son would help him be prepared for Prek. I love that she made each session very casual but professional. A 4 year old that can stay on task for 45 minutes and engaged the entire time is nothing short of amazing. In conversation she noticed my son’s love of dinosaurs and how his next few sessions she had dinosaurs in his lesson and that engaged him even more. I recommend Ms. Troy 10/10 times and I will continue to use her services.
