About Aja

If you need someone to dumb down everything about Chemistry you found the right tutor! As a student in Chemistry Honors before, I always found myself struggling and too scared to ask for help in class. Especially in the later concepts going over stoichiometry, that's where my mind was absolutely blown because I never fully understood the concepts beforehand. However, as a tutor who's been working with a variety of students for the past two years, I'm here to help students understand those beginning topics (if needed) in order to succeed in the later topics of Chemistry. I fully understand the struggle and I'll be here to help! QUALIFICATIONS: - Chemistry tutor for 2 years at A-TECH - Received a 4 on the 2023 AP Chemistry exam

About the lesson

NOTICE: Tutoring ONLY for Chemistry and Chemistry Honors students, not for AP Chemistry

Student, parent, or teacher will first need to introduce the concepts they're learning in their Chemistry class before tutoring.

From there:
- First run down what the student already knows, doesn't know
- Provide guided help when working through problems
- Try to simplify concepts in a way students can understand
- Eventually expect student(s) to be able to do it on their own

GOAL: To make students feel more confident in what they're learning OR successfully finish a worksheet required for grading.
