About Kaitlyn

I am currently studying at the University of York on a writing, directing and acting course. Before this, I gained a Level 3 BTEC (D*D*D*) equivalent to an A*. I hope to help young actors gain their confidence in the performing arts!

I am a developing director, hoping to help you on drama pieces and overall developing performance skills. I have performed in a tour across the UK, understudying 3 roles as well as performing as dance ensemble. From this, I took an interest in movement. An aspect I want to focus on in my work is physical theatre, therefore if you are interested in this, feel free to get in touch. But the most important thing is to understand why you want to perform. And I hope to develop this with you.

About the lesson

As an actor, we all have fundamentals which take us outside our comfort zone. My goal is to overcome these. Finding what you need to improve upon but also understanding key qualities to you as a performer. Focus and improvement.
