About Diane
"Does the idea of navigating a conversation in a new country make your heart race a little bit? We start every single session with a diagnostic level test before we build the plan to ensure we are not wasting time on concepts you already possess. My lessons flow through listening practice and specific exam preparation for the DELE. I focus on natural cadence because language is a living, breathing entity.
I often incorporate my background in music to help students find the internal rhythm of Spanish sentences. We move at a pace that keeps you challenged but never overwhelmed by the volume of information. I bring 13 years of experience to ensure our time together is efficient. I promise to provide a clear pathway toward your communication goals."

"Sometimes it is difficult to admit that speaking a new language feels like wearing a mask that does not fit quite right. I transitioned into this field after 13 years in Australia where I realized that Latin music and language require more than just a literal translation.
My BMus in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and my additional Licenciatura from Argentina provide a unique lens through which I view syntax and rhythm. Having taught 400 students over 13 years, I have seen how common it is for learners to hit a wall with conversational fluency. My role is to bridge that gap using role play and dialogue practice as my primary tools.
Vocabulary building feels less like a chore when we relate it to real world interactions. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in the reality of how people actually speak."
