About Elizabeth

My greatest achievement has been helping students successfully navigate the graduate school journey, from the application process through completing advanced degrees. As a PhD-trained psychologist, research lab director, and university professor, I have mentored students at many stages of their academic careers, including those applying to master's and doctoral programs, current graduate students, and individuals pursuing research careers.

Over the years, I have helped students strengthen their personal statements, CVs, research experience, interview skills, and overall application strategies. I have also guided graduate students through challenges such as finding research opportunities, developing thesis and dissertation projects, presenting at conferences, publishing research, and preparing for academic and non-academic careers.

What I am most proud of is seeing students gain confidence and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Whether that means earning admission to a competitive graduate program, successfully completing a dissertation, or securing a desired internship or job, I find it incredibly rewarding to play a meaningful role in their success. Knowing that my guidance has helped students build fulfilling academic and professional paths is my greatest accomplishment.

I have a PhD in psychology and am an assistant professor of psychology in NYC.

I can help students apply to graduate-level psychology programs, assist current psychology graduate students with navigating their program, and can help graduate students who are on the job market
