About Amy
I am a senior in high school who has taken honors and AP biology, honors chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and biochemistry. I am passionate about the medical work and hope to become a part in a healthcare role. I volunteer at nursing homes, work in hospitals, and understand teaching from my background of teaching swimming and tutoring. A good teacher can really make or break a subject and I believe that without a good teacher, passion for learning can diminish, I hope to give everyone that supported way of teaching to make sure they understand the subject but aren’t burnt out and lose their love for science.

Biology can be a crazy topic, I believe that the best way to learn is for students to view all ways of learning. Certain topics require more visual examples, some auditory, and some with more hands-on approaches. I understand where students struggle the most and the strategies and routines to unlock each student's potential. The hardest part is to find the correct study strategies and through my years of science and biology, I have created a routine that took my test average up by at least 10 points on every test.
