About Yeonu
I graduated from the IBDP at an international school and am currently studying at the University of Hong Kong. Having lived in Shanghai for 17 years, I had the opportunity to interact with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, which has developed my communication skills and ability to connect with students from different backgrounds.
My passion for teaching began at a young age, helping my two younger sisters with their studies. In high school, I served as the leader of a tutoring club, where I taught middle school students. Through these experiences, I understand that every student learns at a different pace and in a different way, so I tailor my teaching methods to each student's individual needs.
For my lessons, I prepared IB-style questions and past paper questions to help students strengthen their understanding and develop effective exam techniques.

This course is for pre-IB and current IB Chemistry or Biology students. Lessons focus on building understanding of the IB curriculum through content preview, exam preparation, support with homework, and IAs.
Each 2-hour lesson begins with a review of homework from the previous session and time to answer any questions. We will then move on to learning new concepts, followed by IB- style practice questions. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning pace and academic goals to help them build confidence and succeed in their studies.
