My mantra is, the small things matter, and I will keep saying that always. I really thing looking at the bigger picture with a student or a homework problem, you are missing the smaller things that will tell you what’s going on. Every kid is special in their small way and we as educators have to learn what that is so we can help them understand that special thing and how to grow it to the child’s advantage!

My lessons will consist of a 5 step format. Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate. For any subject or any style of learning, this format will help children learn in a more efficient and effective way! Whether it’s tactical, auditory, or visual learning, having the 5 Es with you during the lesson will help format the lesson correctly. It will also help keep the child on track if the teacher puts in the effort, which she will!!
