About Megan

I am a university student at the University of York studying Social Policy, Crime and Criminal Justice.

I have always enjoyed tutoring and currently tutor in other subject areas. My favourite part of tutoring is watching the students progress and build confidence not only in the subject area, but also in themselves.

I would ensure that lessons are uniquely planned in order to meet the specific needs of the individual and I am always open to teaching in a way that suits you best!

About the lesson

Qualifications:
Grades 1-7 in piano
Grades 1-5 in the violin
Grades 1-5 in music theory

My priority when teaching is to always ensure that the lesson space is friendly and safe. I want you to get the most out of these lessons in terms of knowledge, but also in terms of having fun!

Typically a lesson would last around an hour and I would aim to make them as interactive and fun as possible. I am able to tutor for any age and have been DBS checked and certified.

I have been tutoring now for around 2 years and have always really enjoyed tutoring music theory especially.

Megan was super helpful in tutoring me for my Spanish GCSE mocks which helped me go from a grade 4 to a grade 7 at my mocks in the weekly lessons I have had from her since September. She is very kind and patient in tutoring me through any sort of difficulty I have had and would totally recommend her for anyone at all levels of Spanish.
