About Halkwat
I am a medical student from the university of Edinburgh who recently sat his SQA exams.
I have sat 8 national 5s, 5 highers, 3 advanced highers and 1 Scottish baccalaureate. I am happy to say I achieved As in all of them.
I particularly enjoyed learning Biology, Chemistry and Modern Studies as I developed methods to tackle those annoying questions and ensure every box was ticked when carrying out assignments.
I have been tutoring family and friends for just over a year now.
Outside of academia, I love playing basketball and currently play for a team. I am also working on a mental health app alongside my team.

I would first of all arrange an initial meeting with my client to get to know them better and understand the areas of concern. I will then explain to them how we can overcome this and what resources I will use to do this.
I always ensure to use the latest resources from SQA including the subject specification. This is to ensure that was is taught is relevant and has a high probability of coming up in the exam.
After teaching a specific topic, I will ensure that past paper questions about this topic are prepared in advance. This is to ensure we can carry them out together and that the client understands how questions on this topic should be approached during an exam.
Printouts, documents or any stationary required will be sent to the client in advance of the meeting e.g highlighters.
Everyone learns a different way and so if after the first 2 lessons there are no improvements, I will use a different method.
I believe that I can help you achieve the best grade you can!
