About Rebecca
Passion for Teaching: I have a genuine passion for sharing knowledge and helping others succeed, tutoring provides a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives. Communication Skills: As a tutor, I have developed excellent communication skills. Explaining complex concepts in a simplified manner, adapting my teaching style to suit different learning needs, and actively listening to students' concerns are all valuable skills that are vital to being a successful tutor. Deepening My Own Knowledge: Tutoring allows me to dive deeper into the subjects I teach. By revisiting and explaining concepts to others, I gain a more profound understanding of the material myself. This continuous learning process helps me to stay sharp. Flexibility and Independence: Tutoring offers flexibility in terms of setting my own schedule and choosing my preferred teaching methods.

My experience: At GCSE, I achieved five grade 9's in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, German, and History. Two grade 8's in Maths and English Literature. And a grade 7 in English Language. I achieved three A's in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in my AS-Levels; my predicted A-Level grades are three A*s. I have previous tutoring experience through my high school where I tutored year 11 GCSE students in maths, science and history in groups of 5, however, this tutoring service will be 1-to-1. Each lesson is 1 hour and costs £10. My Skills Customised Learning Plans: I understand that every student is unique, with different strengths and areas for improvement. Therefore, I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs, designing personalised learning plans to maximise your progress. Comprehensive Subject Coverage: From maths and science to languages, history, and test preparation, I can cover a wide range of subjects. Flexible Scheduling: I offer convenient scheduling options to accommodate your busy lifestyle. Whether you prefer in-person sessions or online tutoring. Interactive and Engaging Sessions: Learning should be enjoyable, so I employ innovative teaching methods, incorporating interactive tools and resources to make the learning process engaging and fun. You'll never be bored during your tutoring sessions.
