About Marisa
I have Bachelor’s in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego, a profound STEM research university. I also have my Master’s in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine from USC, one of the top universities in the world. I’ve tutored for SAT/ACT prep, college applications, and several K-12 subjects. In addition, I was involved at the Women’s Center at UCSD, where I learned how to combine STEM and social justice. Here I learned how to empathize with others in a safe environment which adds a layer to my tutoring style. I believe my unique background and skills will create a great learning environment for my students!
