About Simran

As an educator, I bring a rich tapestry of experiences that have shaped my journey towards academia. From my formative years, I have been an enthusiastic and engaged learner, channeling my passion into both academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. In my academic endeavors, I have consistently displayed a proactive approach, taking the initiative in various endeavors and dedicating myself wholeheartedly to their success.

My educational path led me to pursue Computer Science with Maths in my 11th grade, laying the foundation for my subsequent Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Throughout my BCA, I achieved outstanding academic performance, consistently attaining a CPI of over 9 in every semester. Beyond academics, my collegiate years were marked by personal growth and achievements, including being crowned Ms. Fresher 2017 and showcasing my talents in National Level Dance Competitions, Western Singing, and Mime Acts.

In addition to my extracurricular involvements, I actively engaged in academic projects, developing innovative solutions such as a Shopping site and a Marriage Bureau. Further enriching my educational experience, I participated in the International Student’s Empowerment Program (iSEP), gaining valuable insights and experiences supported by the British High Commission.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, I expanded my skill set by delving into Digital Marketing, completing a comprehensive course provided by Google and subsequently interning in the field. My academic journey culminated in the completion of my post-graduation in Computer Applications (MCA) in 2022.

Following the completion of my first year of MCA, I embarked on a professional journey with IBM/Kyndryl as a Security Delivery Specialist (Associate Technical Engineer). In this role, I demonstrated expertise in securing customer systems, translating business requirements into actionable objectives, and ensuring the execution of security protocols with precision and efficiency.

Simultaneously, I pursued my passion for academia by delivering lectures as an Assistant Professor on various subjects including Data Structures, PHP, Ethical Hacking, and Cloud Computing. Recently, I transitioned into the role of IT Project Coordinator at DigitoLogics company, where I continue to apply my diverse skill set in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Currently, I am dedicated to furthering my academic pursuits as I pursue a PhD in Computer Applications, leveraging my experiences and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to both academia and industry.
