About Amy
Hello! I'm Amy, I'm 23 years old and I've just graduated from Liverpool uni as a vet this summer. I started tutoring as a part time job in my first year and loved it so much I've stuck with it! I've tutored multiple students of all abilities through both A level and GCSE Biology and Chemistry. I've always tutored online and have developed my lessons over the years to ensure the student gets the most they possibly can out of them. I've also helped a handful of my students with vet school applications which I'm more than happy to do again :)

I carry out my lesson online, generally I like to have a chat with you first to work out how you work best! I often use mind maps and diagrams to help explain difficult topics. I've found that my previous students like to do a session on content, going through concepts and ensuring a full understanding. Following this I like to do a session on exam questions, working specifically on exam technique and the best way to pick up marks.
I'm also happy to offer interview advice for anyone looking to get a place at vet school :)
I currently have 5 years experience tutoring A level and GCSE biology and chemistry, at GCSE I gained an A* in both topics, at A level I gained an A* in Biology and A in Chemistry.
Sessions are typically 1hr long, I can also offer double sessions.
