I am in the unique position of having taught English within every Preparatory Year group throughout my teaching career am therefore able to assess exactly how far a pupil should have progressed over the course of a year, as well as the expectations of each Key Stage.

I am currently head of English at at Prep school, where I manage a team of 3 other teachers.
I have taught English in the private sector since 2013 and prior to that, I taught all subjects in the state sector from Year 1 to Year 6.
In my first teaching positions, my teaching was twice observed by OFSTED and was, on both occasions, graded as Outstanding.
I am a highly energetic, enthusiastic and approachable teacher and I have high standard for the pupils I tutor.
My first tutoring position was two Spanish girls during my year abroad at university and I have continued to tutor both native and non-native speakers since 2008.
