I thoroughly enjoy teaching biology as I have a passion for the subject and I enjoy helping others to understand and appreciate biology more. Teaching others also helps me to learn more about the subject, which makes it a win-win!

Lessons are open to ordinary and higher level leaving cert biology. My approach to lessons is to let the student direct the lesson- if they are struggling with a particular topic, that’s what we will focus on in the lesson and I will answer any specific questions they may have and try to improve their understanding of the topic. Once I get to know the student and what topics they need the most help with, I create a study plan/ timetable for what we will cover in each lesson. I have plenty of great resources/notes to share with students from when I was studying biology for my Leaving Cert, including slideshows, detailed notes, textbooks and exam papers.
