About Tingting

I am a native speaker of Mandarin with 15 years’ teaching experience. In my last position, I was hired by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies which is a well-known language university in China and achieved the Bilingual Teacher Certificate in 2019.
In addition to this, my qualifications include the following:
(1) A Ph.D. in Chinese.
(2)15 years of progressively responsible experience of teaching adults. Got the Outstanding Teaching Award in 2019.
(3)Lived in 3 cities in China(Harbin,Hengshui and Guangzhou),spanning from north to south.Familiar with the culture associated with the language or dialect taught.
(4)Excellent intercultural communication skills:studied and worked in 4 countries.(Canada,China,Japan,United Kingdom)
(5)Currently teaching Mandarin four times a week in Canada by zoom and in person!
