About Isabel
I am a Venezuelan Mom who used to work as a Lawyer in my home town, but since I move to Florida I decide to do something that I was always passionate for, Teaching !!! I did volunteer work as a teacher at my children's school and, also I have a solid background given private lessons to different kind of students (kids, teenagers, adults...).

I employ the "Communicative Method" of teaching, which emphasizes the regular use of the Spanish language to advance in all areas of language improvement. Students are encouraged to speak and interact with me and each other ( if it's the case of more than one student class) as much as possible, in order to utilize the language in a variety of contexts. Classroom topics of study may include Spanish culture, current affairs, sports, art, dance, business, and human rights, among others.
Spanish classes focus on the development of the four key language skills: speaking, writing, reading and listening. The four skills are addressed through a variety of exercises and practical applications step by step.
