About Joy

I have been teaching for 16 years and love it. I currently teach the AQA specification but I am happy to teach to other specifications too. I will work hard to explain Clearly and help you achieve your desired grade.

About the lesson

It is really important to understand the basics for all the complicated bits of chemistry to make sense. The language of chemistry is difficult so it is important to get this right. Teaching is a two way street so I can lead the direction of the sessions but I think it is most important to assess your weaknesses and to really work on those. Lots of practice and analysis of how you are answering questions. Plus lots of nifty ways of remembering stuff! If you want to understand chemistry I will try my very best to get you to do that!
