About Alicia
I am originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, but I have been living in Europe for the past five years. I lived in Reykjavik, Iceland from 2018-2021, where I completed my Master's degree in International Development. I began tutoring students in English as a second language for the company VipKID when the pandemic began in 2020, and I fell in love with the career. I love working with students one-on-one an being able to gauge their progress over the course of our lessons. I truly feel as though teaching is my calling in life.

I deliver one-on-one, fully immersive English language lessons, aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards to ESL students. I like to recreate the American public school experience by incorporating themes of history and social studies courses in my lessons. Most of my experience involves teaching high school-age students (14-18 years old), but I am more than willing to accept adult learners!
