About Sara

I have tutored both Spanish children & English children. I helped the Spanish with their English and the English with their Spanish. I believe I helped them develop a sense of confidence when speaking both languages, and excellent understanding skills. I'm most concerned about teaching you to understand.
I have no qualifications related to languages whatsoever at the moment. Only Primary, Secondary studies (with Honours) & Spanish A Levels, Life Guard and First Aid Spanish Licence, and Swimming Coach Licence.
I believe I'm a very interesting tutor to choose because my lessons are very uncommon. You won't feel you are learning a verb, conjunction or specific word. You will learn our passion when writing poems. How songs relate to our everyday Spanish speaking and how to ask for "bravas" at a Spanish bar!

About the lesson

While I finished my Secondary Studies and Spanish A Levels, I started babysitting & tutoring school children in my hometown. I game them varied lessons about Languages, Maths, History, Literature... Then I started working as a waitress for my family's pizzeria in Madrid. 6 months ago I moved to London to work as an au pair (April-July). Now I'm studying a full-time BA (Hons) in Music Business at BIMM London.
Overall, I've always taught children between the ages of 9-14. They had beginner-intermediate levels, mostly. Now, as Spanish is my native language, I'd be very happy to teach students of any age, whose level is up to Advanced (C1).
Lessons will be 100% personalized, based purely on the student's needs. We might focus on grammar, vocabulary, or maybe speaking skills. It depends on what you want to learn and master. Or if you don't mind, we will divide each lesson: 50% for grammar, 50% for listening // 50% for vocabulary, 50% for speaking // etc.
I will focus on the everyday use of Spanish & pronunciation!

Most importantly, my lessons will never be typical. We will learn to think how Spanish people do, to communicate as they do, analyze films, songs and tons of literature excerpts! You will never be bored.
