About Carlos Henrique
Hello! I'm Carlos Henrique. I graduated in Business Administration from PUC-Rio, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the same institution and a guitar teacher. Academic by profession, and musician by vocation. I've been playing guitar for ten years and I've given private lessons for five years. I started playing the guitar in a self-taught way when I was 16, when I discovered by chance that I had heard it all. Since then, I've been struggling to learn more and more about the enchanting universe of music. In addition to teaching guitar, I am a keyboard teacher and am looking to improve myself in music theory. Ah! I am currently a violin student at the Villa-Lobos School. I started to learn violin last year and I intend to improve on that instrument. I also intend to learn and teach more instruments over time (including the violin hahaha). I believe that music is a divine gift, and that I have a mission to bring this gift to those who are willing to cultivate it.

My teaching methodology varies according to the student's profile and degree of learning. My lessons are focused on the practical part, but also cover the theoretical part of the music. In my classes, my basic premise is that I will not touch the student. I want the student to discover and develop for himself the skills to play. In my role as teacher, my mission is to give the ignition so that the student not only plays an instrument, but that enters and enchants with the universe of music. My belief is that I am responsible for 20% of the success of the student, and I want the student to work the 80% that corresponds to him. In other words: no pain, no gain.
