About Hope
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2021, where I signed with Conway Van Gelder Grant and have been working as a professional actor ever since. My first job was playing Tink in Ella Hickson’s ‘Wendy & Peter Pan’ at Leeds Playhouse, directed by Jonathan Munby. I then went on to originate the role of Young Suzanne in ‘Just For One Day - the Live Aid Musical’ from original workshop, to The Old Vic, three months in Toronto and a year in the West End. We closed recently after being a part of the show for 4 years!

I’ve worked as an acting coach and casting assistant for 5 years now. I coach students for drama school & NYT entry, professional auditions & self-tapes, LAMDA exams and general acting technique.
Drama School Submissions:
After auditioning for the majority of drama schools myself over two consecutive years I totally understand how daunting the whole process can be! I can offer help with choosing contrasting monologues which best suit your casting and showcase your individuality to stand out amongst your fellow auditionees! We will work on understanding the piece, character and context as well as voice, physicality and presence work. I have sat in on Guildhall audition panels and so can also work with you on interview technique and questions. I want to be a cheerleader for you throughout the whole journey!
LAMDA teaching:
I have tutored students of all ages and experiences in both acting and public speaking LAMDA exams for 3 years now and have a 100% distinction pass rate! The syllabus can be a brilliant introduction to drama for newbies and very rewarding if you’re looking to hone your acting skills, gain confidence or even just earn some extra UCAS points!
Self tape and in the room auditions:
I graduated drama school in 2021 and signed with Conway Van Gelder Grant who I’ve been with ever since. After completing endless self tapes and in the room recalls I can offer advice on understanding the brief and text in order to make bold, clear choices. We will also play with different versions of the scene to ensure you're able to take redirection which may be thrown at you on the spot. I can also help with the recording of self tapes!

The drama school audition prep sessions that I’ve had with Hope have quite literally been a game changer for me! After 2 years auditioning without an offer, this time I went in with the best monologues for me, knowing that I was well prepared with two contrasting speeches, to be redirected, play and chat about my pieces. I actually enjoyed the process this time round, and have ended up with two offers at Royal Welsh and Central. Would highly recommend her to anyone in the same position, it made all the difference!
