About Awais
I study Graphic Design at NTU, where I develop my process, perspective and skills in the context of the art world across time. At college I studied an Access to HE Diploma in Art & Design. Created outcomes to project briefs in Figure drawing, Life drawing, logo design, digital imaging, poster design and sculpture. As well as independent research essays in Photography and Art History.
I have a good academic background across Maths, Science and Art. I have a Nuffield Research Project in Engineering and a CREST Gold Award. As well as soft skills from being a student ambassador and a member of my schools debate team.
Having recently passed through interviews for Art School at university. I can help you through the whole process of applying and preparing for interview and then university.

I take a collaborative approach to learning, because that’s how I’m taught. I approach topics by looking at the bigger picture first and exploring specific features of the topic. Long term and short term goals should be negotiated between tutor and student. I believe in revisiting topics and viewing how things connect to the larger unities of culture and visual aesthetics. Opinions are very important to developing confidence, therefore regular discussions around work are very useful.
I have fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. As well as this I can paint, draw and print. All of which I can help you with.
