About Sara

My name is Sara, I am 23 years old and at the moment I am attending the master's degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Amsterdam. Although I decided to graduate in Modern Literature, the linguistic high school left me with a passion for languages, first of all English.
Over the years I have traveled a lot and also studied abroad on Erasmus. These opportunities have allowed me to further perfect my English, to the point of making it a language that I am perfectly comfortable speaking in and that is part of my daily life.
Fortunately, in addition to speaking English, I also like to teach it! I have followed various guys and have always had positive experiences, so I hope to continue to do so in the future. Don't be afraid to contact me with any questions! :)

About the lesson

Every student is different, so I don't have a fixed teaching method! However, I can assure you that the atmosphere will be relaxed and friendly, because the most important thing for me is that the student feels listened to and at ease.

The lessons vary according to the type of help required, but they are always modeled on the needs of the student. I always start with school material as a basis, but I also offer additional material to fill any gaps and to provide more insights. The lessons can be carrying out tasks and exercises, school or for language certifications, or even conversation to practice comprehension and oral expression.

I have a degree in Literature but from the linguistic high school I still have the passion for languages. I studied abroad for a semester during my bachelor's and now I live in Amsterdam, so I use English almost more than I use Italian!
I consider myself a patient, open-minded and trustworthy person. I have taught English to many students over the years and have been happy to see them achieve their goals and improve, so I hope to do so again in the future!

My lessons are aimed at students of all educational levels, but also to people of all ages who are not part of the school environment. As I have already mentioned I live abroad so I am available for online lessons (but don't worry, in this year and a half of continuous lockdown I have practiced a lot of online tuition!)
