About Marcello
I studied classical percussions and jazz drums, currently attending the two-year specialization at the Conservatory of Milan and I dedicate myself to concert activity. I would like to convey what I have learned from my teachers, from my personal experience and great passion for music. I got these awards and prizes: Recognition for musicality at the summer courses of the Berklee College of Music at Umbria Jazz 2018 Scholarship at the summer international seminars of Siena Jazz in 2016 Scholarship awarded to the best musician of Merano Jazz Mittlereuropean Academy 2015 First prize absolute competition for percussionists "International Percussion Competition" Montebello della battaglia (PV) First prize at the "Festival del Ritmo" of Novellara (RE) First prize in the "Mister Jazz" competition Anzola Jazz Club (BO)

The methodology is based on the use of the main books and studies of technique, phrasing and coordination of the great American teachers such as C.Wilcoxon, G.Chaffee, T.Reed, A.Dawson, etc ... Generally alongside the study of the battery that of the classical drum technique and the applied rhythmic solfeggio, I try to propose to the student a study method suited to his needs and aspirations. I prefer to give fortnightly / monthly lessons of 2h each to allow optimal learning of the proposed material.
