About Irene
In my current job as a language assistant, I found out how passionate I am about spreading the knowledge and views that I have about my country, Spain. I am a qualified primary school teacher who loves animals (especially dogs), travelling and living in different places, sports, etc.
The reason why I decided to try and tutor online is because of how passionate I am about creating new activities and constantly, with the help of my student's feedback, trying to improve them. My motto is that without learning there's no teaching, and as that is precisely my job, I will make sure both processes take place. Let's have some fun together and find a way to make language learning the most fun and helpful it's ever been!

I am a qualified foreign language teacher in Spain who wants to work alongside people who are keen to learn more about my beautiful language and its culture.
Depending on why you want to learn Spanish, the exercises and the length of the lesson will vary. They can either go from speaking daily conversations that you could have on a holiday in Spain to the typical language that you could use in an office. Nonetheless, be ready to have fun! As a teacher, gamification and interactive activities are a passion of mine. It doesn't matter the age or goal, when something is fun, it not only takes away half of the effort to do it but it's also more productive!
Furthermore, as I say to my students, I am all ears when it comes to constructive criticism. If an exercise/ methodology doesn't work for you, I promise to try and help you find another one which does!
