I graduated from University College London, following this I completed his PGCE and qualified as a teacher of Science. At UCL I studied Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Philosophy of Science, Evolutionary Biology and various other scientific fields. I enjoys sharing my passion for science with my students. I started tutoring while at university and this caused me to pursue a career in education. I recently helped students gain work experience in hospitals, delivered trips to the the Royal Society of Medicine, taken students to tour the Houses of Parliament and organised a fund raising cycle ride.

I have eight years experience as a full time science teacher. My responsibilities included leading the Young Enterprise and Duke Of Edinburgh programmes, managing whole department curriculum delivery and examination and developing medical school applicants. I have worked with young people from a broad spectrum of backgrounds as a tutor, mentor and sports coach. I enjoys entrepreneurship and I set up a social enterprise that helps schools raise student engagement in science. I enjoys cycling, restoring bikes, camping, philosophy and travelling.

School teaching performance appraisals have highlighted my passion for science as a strength in his practice. Additionally I have consistently and effectively helped students progress by setting high expectations and by developing strong relationships. As a tutor Identify students needs through target questioning and open dialogue. I encourages students to reflect on their academic weaknesses while modelling study techniques that build skills, knowledge and understanding.
