About Caroline
I'm from Omaha, Nebraska born and raised! I went to Iowa State University for biology and worked as a teaching assistant for molecular biology and tutored for biochemistry. I was inducted in the top national honor society at Iowa State my senior year and participated in various clubs and extracurriculars. I went on to go to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for my master's in biochemistry and molecular biology.
I quite honestly did not love biology in middle school and high school, but fell in love with it in college. I love teaching students, trying to relate to them, and helping them to be as successful as possible. I am a huge Nebraska volleyball fan, and I played for nine years. I have a really chubby cat named Ned who doesn't necessarily share in my passion for biology and biochemistry, and I'll most likely annoy you with cute pictures of her.

An important part of lessons include understanding the instructors teaching style, which aids me in helping students be the most successful in their class. Along with this, I try to understand how the individual student learns. While helping students learn the information is essential, every student learns differently. My sessions almost always include brief lectures, worksheets, study guides, and quizzes. From the results of these learning tools, I can better gauge where students are struggling. These lessons are for middle school, high school, or college students.
