About Kaitlyn
I hope to encourage students to expand their vocabulary as well as have a better understanding of the material. I want to provide a positive learning environment where students can ask questions and experience growth in their reading skills. We will establish a routine that will allow students to practice time management and have a more comprehensive view of the curriculum.

For beginning readers, we would spend time making sure they understand the sentences and pronunciation of words depending on their reading level. I would review a more familiar book with them, write sentences with sight words they could review, and practice on their own. For more advanced readers we would focus more on comprehension and begin to read more comprehensive books that allow for greater development.
In addition, I would make sure they understand verb tenses as we are reading and know how to use them appropriately.
