About Tori

I finished my undergraduate study in Chinese Language and Literature at Sun Yat-sen University, gaining solid knowledge of language, literature and traditional culture. I also hold the Intermediate Certificate for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, which confirms my professional teaching skills and methods.
I have deep love for Chinese language and culture, and I always hope to share it with more people. I also get great joy of achievement from seeing my students make progress and grow. I want to help more people understand China and build friendly cultural connections.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach & Methodology
I focus on practical, interactive, and student-centered learning. I combine systematic language instruction with rich cultural context — using real-life scenarios, stories, and cultural topics to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I adapt methods based on each learner’s goals: for daily conversation, I emphasize speaking and listening; for academic or exam purposes, I strengthen grammar, reading, and writing. I use clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and plenty of practice to help you build confidence and solid skills.

Lesson Duration
Standard lessons are 60 minutes; I also offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions to suit your focus and energy level.

-I graduated from Sun Yat-sen University (one of China’s top universities), majoring in Chinese Language and Literature.

- Intermediate Certificate for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language — professional training in teaching methods, curriculum design, and cross-cultural communication

- Solid background in traditional Chinese culture, literature, and history, which I integrate naturally into lessons

- Patient, responsible, and experienced in guiding learners at different stages
