Soko was one of my childhood friend. We went to the same primary school together here in Fiji. She left to join another primary school when we were in Year 3/ Class 3. We did not see each other again until we met at the Teacher Training college here in Fiji known then as the Fiji College of Advance Education and became very good colleagues after. I have known Soko Vadreti as a colleague at a remote high school in the northwest part of Fiji ( Saqani High School) for 4years.
I have come to know her as a hardworking and dedicated person. Despite the fact that it was a rural school which was a change of scenario for her kids and herself she adapted well and got along with the education system in the rural remote area. She is a dedicated Sunday School teacher and always eager to share what she has when it is in abundance. A trusted colleague and always love to socialize after a week of work. I wish her well.
