About Lorenzo
Hi! My name is Lorenzo, and I’m 25 years old. Last year my debut novel was published, and my ambition is to keep reading and writing as much as possible.
During my classical high school years, I was often frustrated by the lack of empathy shown by many teachers: they rarely took an interest in their students and their inclinations, expecting everyone to learn in the same way. At Holden School, I learned another method, based on the student's personality.
Thanks to my studies and experiences, I’ve developed not only a solid knowledge of the Italian and English language, but also the sensitivity needed to build genuine communication with those I teach.
My age also helps me connect easily with younger learners.
For me, teaching is based on dialogue: an exchange that enriches both sides.

My goal is to help students rediscover the vitality of language: it’s not a fixed set of rules, but a living tool for reading and interpreting the world with clarity and authenticity.
In each lesson, I start from the student’s reflections and inclinations, to build a personalized program encouraging independent thinking. I then move on to theoretical explanations of grammar and text analysis, combined with writing exercises, all within a constructive dialogue.
My role is similar to that of the daimon in ancient Greek culture: a guide who doesn’t impose, but inspires understanding and learning. In this way, I help students shape their own thoughts and express their personal vision.
