I graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University with a degree of Teaching Chinese as a Second language, and I spent a year tutoring international students at the BLCU Preparatory College, answering their questions about their Chinese homework and arranging dictations and tests.
I have great enthusiasm for cross-cultural communication and Chinese language education. My previous study and working experience have enabled me to master a lot of knowledge related to Chinese language education and educational leadership, and I also practiced my adaptability and communication skills by communicating with students of different ages, countries and cultural backgrounds.
My lesson will be 40 mins-60mins, and as I attach great importance to culture in language teaching, my teaching programme will involve more content on traditional Chinese culture, folklore and general knowledge of language usage. I will develop tailored plans for my students (preferably adult beginners) and choose materials and examples according to their personal characteristics and interests.
