About Laura
My name is Laura, I am 24 years old and I have just finished my degree in Drama and Applied Theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. I have learned English since I was little and have been living in England sin I was 17. I have been an actress for two theatre companies in Manchester, before starting university. I have worked as a teacher assistant in London for English and drama in a primary school. Additionally, I have been a drama teacher for an intergenerational theatre project in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Due to my background in theatre, I have a very interactive approach in my methodology. I listen to the students needs and I prepare my lessons by taking into account the student’s personality. I believe learning a language should be fun and useful thats why my classes are informal. However, as someone who loves reading I like to focus as well in the grammar, in order to cover all aspects of the language learning: Listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar
