About Eda
I am a 24 year old graduate living in London with previous tutoring experience. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and having a positive effect on my students academic career.Throughout school I always strived to achieve the best; I was Head Girl, a part of various societies including debating and basketball, therefore I am inclined to do my very best to encourage and lead my students in the right direction to reach their full potential. Throughout my time at the University of Edinburgh, whilst studying for my bachelors and then my masters, I was also very proactive. I was class rep for 3 years running and was participating in innovative societies such as Augment Bionics (designing and building a prosthetic hand) and Third Culture Society (being an international student, having grown up in a country other than my own and then moving to the UK for university and work).

I like to pre-discuss the topics my student wants to study in their chosen subject so I can plan effective and efficient classes to make the most of our lesson together. Available for homework help and extra practice on topics that are hard to grasp. I’ve had 3 students previously while I was studying for my A-levels and I thoroughly enjoy the teaching process. I am easy to approach and patient and will not give up explaining topics until I am certain my student has fully grasped the concept. As I am a mechanical engineer, it is my job to approach obstacles from different angles so I can appreciate that different children have different ways of learning and I can adapt my teaching style accordingly.
My lessons usually last 1 hour but I am able to adjust the lessons lengths and frequencies depending on the student but I am only available to teach after 6pm on weekdays or over the weekends.
My qualifications include A in Alevel Biology, A in Alevel Physics, A in Alevel Maths and an MEng Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Edinburgh
