About Cassandra

I’ve been a teacher for 9 years and I absolutely love what I do. It makes my heart complete knowing that I am able to help my students know they can be confident when they are reading a book or a short passage and actually comprehend what they have read.

About the lesson

Being able to understand the basic skills of reading and how to sound out words is the important part. Once we have this established, we are able to work on further skills that are necessary. Each student is unique and learns differently, and teaching special education is learning each student's ability.
