About Aminat
I’m a trained educator with a degree in education and experience teaching maths. I first had a private maths tutor when I was in early high school, and it completely changed how I saw the subject. Maths went from something confusing to something I could understand and enjoy. That experience shaped my life, and it showed me how powerful good teaching can be.
I want to tutor because I want to give students the same kind of support I received. My goal is to help them understand maths clearly, feel more confident, and realise that they can succeed with the right help.

Students don’t struggle with maths because they aren’t capable.. they struggle because no one has ever explained it in a way that truly connects with them. That’s exactly what a private tutor did for me early in high school, and it changed the course of my life. Having someone who broke things down patiently, believed in me, and helped maths make sense didn’t just raise my grades, it built confidence, curiosity, and a sense of possibility.
Now I’m committed to offering that same experience to my students.
I tailor lessons to how each student learns best, reinforce missing foundations, and turn confusion into clarity. My goal isn’t just to help students pass maths, it’s to help them understand it, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. If someone could make that impact on me, I know I can pass that impact forward.
