Graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where I studied Spanish & Modern Irish languages. I have spent extended periods of time living in Spain, attending summer language schools to hone language skills.

About Eleanor
I am an established and working professional and choose to support students with their studies in Spanish and Irish languages in my spare time. I am passionate about languages and do not use them in my work, so I choose to teach as a way to honour this passion and nurture language learning in my students.
I engaged a tutor/grinds teacher in Maths when I was preparing for my junior and leaving cert exams. My experience was so positive that it inspired me to work with students in the same way, helping them to achieve their potential and maximize their grades.
I have adult ADHD and so the importance of breaking down lessons into smaller, more impactful and digestable components is central to my lessons. This approach ensures that lessons are inclusive and cater to all levels and learners.

Lessons are structured around the learning needs of the student with a focus on exam topics and structure. My approach to teaching is student-centric and involves mixed methods to ensure students are engaged and ensure maximum retention. Lessons are 1 hour. Accepting junior and leaving cert students to support them towards achieving their potential in Spanish and Irish language exams at these levels.
