About Nuha
I am passionate about teaching, and passionate about learning too! I currently teach in a primary school, but am hoping to return to education for a master's in the near future. I have lots of experience working with children of all ages, and I am confident that I can be a friendly and supportive presence for my students.
During my A-levels, I struggled with my Politics course and fully benefitted from a tutor who was able to boost my confidence for my final exams. Going to Oxford reinforced my belief that one-on-one tutoring is so important for learning not only effectively, but enjoyably.
Ultimately, I hope to encourage students to find confidence in their subjects and help them excel.

The format of the tutorials will begin with going through an essay or piece of work the student submits in advance. This could be work already completed in school.
I will then provide feedback and we will go through the work in detail, discussing the ideas in it as well as the techniques used and areas for improvement. It's really important to be able to talk through arguments or ideas to help consolidate learning.
Following this, we can work through new writing or essay techniques, or analyse texts in the curriculum together to help prepare for the next submission of work.
To prepare for exams, I'm happy to review practice papers or discuss exam techniques and tips.
Most tutorials will last 1 hour, but I am happy to accommodate shorter tutorials to fit around other obligations.
I have tutored groups at primary school level and tutored one-on-one at secondary school level in English and Maths, and am able to support students of all levels of confidence.
