About Matthew
I graduated with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley and am currently a research assistant at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute where I study the connection between PTSD and early life stress. When not in the lab, I am dedicated to increasing diversity in STEM and have a strong background in helping students of all ages in math and science related fields!

I have 5 years of experience teaching 1 on 1 and in group settings. In high school, I received personalized tutoring for math classes (AP Calculus AB, BC) and also attended a local group tutoring session for biology and SAT prep. I realize different class structures require different teaching styles. I'm well versed in giving full lessons on STEM related subjects or helping a more independent student work efficiently.
