About Grace K
My name is Grace Williams. I am a graduate student working in the Marketing & Communication field. It gives me great joy helping a student grow in their confidence and flourish in classes when they are given personalized and intentional guidance. Developing study and organizational skills were essential in my success throughout my high school and undergraduate career. I believe tutoring lessons are most successful when a student exits their lessons learning and understanding primary information from the class they are studying as well as developing underlying skills in studying practices, time management, organization, and task management.
My development and implementation of lessons and studying practices are centered around the practice of promoting retention of the subject matter and completing educational objectives directly from the student's class/course. Providing a structured space for students to learn key information from their courses while developing study skills for in-person or virtual lessons is a priority in my lessons.

As a tutor, I find the importance of creating high relationship-oriented lessons for each of my students. As I continue to work with students one-on-one, I am able to structure lessons based on how a student learns and retains information on an individual basis.
My connection to creativity is implemented into my lessons, offering students a space to grow in their education and gain a better sense of themselves throughout their lessons.
I offer 30-minute and 60-minute lessons for students generally in 5th-10th grade. Students in 11th-12th taking psychology, government, AP english, business classes are 45-minute to 60-minute lessons.
I continually asses students and their needs to be successful in an educational environment.
