About Robbie
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017, having spent a year abroad in Spain and Honduras. I then bought a small sailing boat that I used to travel around Central America, improving my Spanish further in the process.

I will try to avoid English wherever possible, speaking slowly with my hands to fortify the comprehension with non-verbal cues. Having learned from scratch myself I am aware of the 'false friends' and bad habits one can get themselves into whilst studying Spanish, and have tried and tested techniques to avoid them. I avoid the lengthy explanations for conjugations found in textbooks, and have methods for simplifying them. Six years of Spanish have taught me that many of the seemingly difficult grammatical concepts are nowhere near as complicated as they appear when written in a book, and can be explained more effectively orally with the use of simple diagrams.
